3. Minutes of the Council Meeting on 19th October 2020 – to sign as a correct record of the meeting
4. Chairman / Clerk reports – to include a report on the Remembrance Day ceremony on 8th November 2020
5. Borough Councillor / County Councillor reports – to receive an update on issues from the previous meeting and to provide information on other items on this agenda
6. Planning
a) Wisley Airfield Development – to receive a report on the information meeting on 2nd November 2020
and an update on the 2 current planning applications regarding the road access to the site
b) Planning Committee Minutes – to note the Planning Minutes from the Committee meetings held
in October and November 2020 and to receive an update on previous planning applications
7. Amenities and Leisure Services
a) Working Group – to receive a report on the Council’s contracts and to approve the timetable for tenders
b) Street lighting upgrade to LEDs – to approve the commencement of an application for a Government Loan
c) Allotment Liaison Meeting – to consider a report on the meeting on 26th October and approve actions
d) Ground Force Group – to approve the plans and purchase of equipment for the group
8. Lancaster Hall
a) Liaison Meeting – To receive a report and recommendations from the meeting with the Lancaster Hall on
20th October 2020 and approve action
b) Hire of room – to consider a proposal to hire an additional room at the hall and approve plans for its use
9. Financial and other Council Matters
a) Finance and General Purpose Working Group – to note the next budget meeting on 7th December 2020
b) Monthly expenditure list for November – to approve
c) Code of Conduct – to approve the adoption of a new Code of Conduct for Councillors and receive a report on the training days run by Guildford Borough Council
10. Community Matters
a) Community Working Group – to receive an update on the plans for the new group and approve action
b) Christmas lights – to receive an update on the project and approve action
c) Free school meals – to approve a donation to a community fund for free meals in the Christmas holidays
11. Communications – to consider the following requests and communications:-
a) Rotary Club – a report on the Rotary Club activities and an invitation to provide a project for funding
b) Land to the rear of Linden Way and Maple Road – a request regarding land use in these locations
c) Surrey CC Consultation on School admission arrangements for 2022 – to respond to proposed changes
d) GBC Renewal of Dog Fouling PSPO in open spaces – to respond in the consultation
e) Sale of garages in Wharf Lane – to note correspondence between a resident and Guildford BC
f) Other Communications – to receive any other communications received after the agenda has been prepared (for information only or to be discussed a future Council meeting)
12. Highways Matters
a) London Road – to consider the response to the Council’s letter sent to the relevant authorities regarding the issues of people living on the London Road
b) Other Highways Matters – to receive any other highways issues to report to Surrey County Council
13. Other Reports
a) Pavilion Redevelopment – to receive an update on the project
b) Cemetery
14. Date of next Council Meeting – to note the date of the next Council Meeting is Monday 18th January 2021
