Welcome to Send Parish Council’s Planning Appeals Fund page.
Send Planning Appeals Fund, is to provide resources to enable the Parish Council to obtain legal or other professional advice and pursue action relating to planning matters impacting Send.
A priority for the fund has been to challenge development encroaching the River Wey Corridor, which forms the setting for the River Wey and Godalming Navigations, a designated Conservation Area and heritage asset. The River Wey is a key feature of Send’s natural environment.
In January 2025, Send Parish Council was successful in quashing a grant of planning permission impacting the Corridor of the River Wey by Order of the High Court.
