Members of Send Parish Council are hereby summoned to attend the
monthly meeting of SEND PARISH COUNCIL to be held on
Monday 20th September 2021 at 7.45 p.m. in the Upper Room at the Lancaster Hall
for the purpose of transacting the following business
Public Session Members of the public are invited to express a view or ask any questions of the Council between 7.45pm and 8pm and then are welcome to observe the rest of the meeting

7. Amenities and Leisure Services
a) Amenities and Leisure Services Committee – to consider the minutes and recommendations of the meeting on 13th September and approve the following expenditure:
• To plant new trees and wildflowers at the cemetery
• To plant memorial trees and plaques on Send Marsh Green
• To commission a survey of Bush Lane Woodland
b) Christmas Lights – to receive an update on the 2021 display in Send and approve plans
c) Pavilion Redevelopment – to receive an update on the project including the household survey
8. Financial and other Council Matters
a) End of Audit 2020-21 – to note the conclusion of the audit and the external auditor’s report
b) Monthly expenditure lists for August and September – to approve
c) Finance and General Purposes Committee – to note dates of the next meetings and items to be discussed
d) Review of Council Policies – to continue the review of Council policies
e) Remembrance Day – to approve plans for 2021
f) Youth outreach/well-being – to consider the setting up of a scheme
9. Communications
a) 1st Send St Marys Scouts – a request to hold the annual bonfire on Send Marsh Green on 6th November
b) Queen’s Jubilee 2022 – an invitation from the Rotary Club to organise events with Send and Ripley PCs
c) Other Communications – to receive any other communications received after the agenda has been prepared (for information only or to be discussed a future Council meeting)
