“Send’s first Open Gardens event is this weekend, 18 and 19 June.
You can buy tickets in the parish office in the Lancaster Hall until end tomorrow. Or at any participating venue.”
This event was a great success. Over £4000 was raised for charity. St Mary’s Church Send has been the main beneficiary. £1000 remains. The organisers are requesting that any local organisations or charities should contact them to request a donation so that the rest of the money can be given away to local causes and charities.
