3. Minutes of the Council Meeting on 15th June 2020 – to sign as a correct record of the meeting

4. Planning

a) To consider a response to the following application as recommended by Send PC Planning Committee:
19/P/02237 Land adjacent to Pembroke House, 54 Potters Lane (amended application)

Erection of 10 houses (5 detached and 5 attached houses, all 3 bedroom) with associated landscaping, parking and vehicular access

b) Local Plan Consultation – to approve a response to the Local Plan: development management policies – Issues and Preferred Options consultation
c) Wisley Airfield Development – to receive an update on the community consultation
d) Send Neighbourhood Development Plan (SNDP) – to receive an update on the SNDP
e) Planning Committee Minutes – to note the Planning Minutes from the Committee meetings held in June and July 2020 and to receive an update on previous planning applications

5. Financial and other Council Matters

a) Quarterly budget report – to consider a report for the first quarter 2020-21
b) Grant Aid – To receive an invitation to submit grant applications for 2021-22 to Guildford Borough Council (projects to be included will be approved at the September Council meeting)
c) Council Asset list – to review the inventory of Council land and assets
d) Monthly expenditure list for July 2020 – to approve

6. Amenities and Leisure Services Working Group – to receive and consider the minutes and recommendations from the working group meeting on 9th July 2020 regarding the following:

a) Christmas lights – to approve a contractor for the 2020 Christmas lights for Send
b) National Trust (NT) – to note the NT’s response to the PC’s donation and to approve the nomination of representatives at future consultation meetings held by the NT regarding the Wey Navigation
c) Playground repairs and inspection – an update on the opening of the playground during Covid-19, a report on the annual ROSPA safety report and the plans for repairs to the playground equipment
d) Additional bee hive – the plans for an additional bee hive at the cemetery
e) Community Clean up – the litter issues reported and plans to participate in a Keep Britain Tidy project to clean up Britain after Covid 19
f) Other matters – to note and approve the actions of the working group including matters relating to the cemetery, overgrown footpaths, mowing and trees at the recreation ground and logs at Woodhill

7. Communications Working Group – to receive and consider the minutes and recommendations from the working group meeting on 6th July 2020 regarding the following:

a) Website – an update on the project for the new Council website and to approve plans for training
b) Old Phone Box – to approve the plans for future exhibitions and maintenance
c) WhatsApp – to consider the setting up of a Council WhatsApp group to assist communications

8. Communications – to consider the following requests and communications:-

a) Send Primary School – a request to work in partnership with the PC to assist the school in community engagement
b) Qi Gong – a request to use the recreation ground in August
c) Send Scouts bonfire – a request to use Send Marsh Green for the annual bonfire in November 2020
d) Other Communications – to receive any other communications received after the agenda has been prepared (for information only or to be discussed a future Council meeting)

9. Other Reports

a) Chairman/Clerk’s report – to report on any matters since the last Council meeting
b) County and Borough Councillor reports
c) Lancaster Hall – to report on the refurbishment of the hall

10. Date of next Council Meeting – to note the date of the next Council Meeting is Monday 21st September 2020 (no meeting in August) – to be confirmed whether the meeting will be on Zoom
