Members of Send Parish Council are hereby summoned to attend the
monthly meeting of SEND PARISH COUNCIL to be held on
Monday 18th October 2021 at 7.45 p.m. in the Upper Room at the Lancaster Hall
for the purpose of transacting the following business
Public Session Members of the public are invited to express a view or ask any questions of the Council between 7.45pm and 8pm and then are welcome to observe the rest of the meeting.

b) Surrey Hills – to consider a report on the Surrey Hills Forum and an update on the AONB and boundary review and agree action

7. Financial and other Council Matters
a) Monthly expenditure list for October – to approve
b) Finance and General Purposes Committee – to receive the minutes of the meeting on 11th October and approve the following:
• New printer – an agreement for the purchase of a remanufactured printer
• Recruitment services – the purchase of a recruitment package for a new Clerk and the appointment of a Staffing sub-committee
c) Quarterly budget report 2021-22 – to consider the quarterly budget report (2nd quarter)
d) Review of Council Policies – to continue the review of Council policies
e) Remembrance Day – to receive the updated plans and approve
f) Diary dates – to receive the updated diary dates for Committees and other meetings
8. Communications
a) Queen’s Jubilee Event – An invitation to participate in a joint project with the Rotary Club and Ripley PC
b) Use of pavilion – A request by Send EC to use the pavilion for the Light Event on 31st October
c) Stairlift – A request from the Lancaster Hall for one of their hirer’s to use the stair lift for an event
d) Other Communications – to receive any other communications (for information only)
9. Other Reports
To receive an update on other Council projects and a report on the cemetery and Lancaster Hall.
10. Date of next Council Meeting – to note the next Council meeting is on Monday 15th November 2021
