Planning Meeting
Venue:  Village Hall

7:15 pm - 8:00 pm - A Planning Committee meeting will be held on Monday 2nd September 2019 at 7.15pm in the Parish Office. All members of the public are welcome to attend

St Mary's Church showcase of bridal dresses
11:00 am - 4:00 pm - Note that Sunday hours are 12noon to 5pm.
As part of the local Heritage Weekend, our church will be displaying dresses worn by brides who married in St Mary's.
There will also be a parade of scarecrows dressed as brides and grooms along Church Lane.
Free parking in the field at the top of the lane.
Tea and cake will be available and all are welcome.

Parish Council Meeting
Venue:  Village Hall

7:45 pm - 10:00 pm - A Parish Council meeting will be held on Monday 16th September 2019 at 7.45pm in the Upper Room at the Lancaster Hall. All members of the public are welcome to attend.

Send & Ripley walk as part of Guildford Walkfest
10:30 am - 1:30 pm -  A 6 mile walk from Send to Ripley via the Wey Navigation and back on other footpaths.

Meet: Start and finish at Send Evangelical Church, Broadmead Road, Send, GU23 7AD (parking available)
The walk will be approximately 6 miles including some of the Wey Navigation towpath.
Please note: There is an hourly bus service to Send from Woking and Guildford, bus number 462/463, alight at the New Inn. There are a number of stiles on this walk. Dogs welcome but must at times be on a lead. Toilets are available at the start and finish of the walk.
Length of walk: 6 miles.

Send Recreation Ground centenary avenue of trees official opening
The funding of the tree planting and gazebo construction were aided by generous donations from the Rotary Club of Ripley and Send and GBC. The French organization twinned with the Rotary Club and who gave a large sum of money will be in attendance.

Send parish walk as part of Guildford Walkfest
10:30 am - 12:30 pm - A 4 mile walk around the parish of Send, including part of the Wey navigation and passing Send Parish Church. .

Start and finish at Send Evangelical Church, Broadmead Road, Send, GU23 7AD (parking available)

The walk will be approximately 4 miles, generally along level paths. The walk is suitable for families although there are a number of stiles and a few other places where a pushchair or buggy would need to be carried for a short distance. Refreshments will be available free of charge before the walk Please note: There is an hourly bus service to Send from Woking and Guildford, bus number 462/463, alight at the New Inn. Dogs welcome but must at times be on a lead. Toilets are available at the Church.
